The Sarpy County Sheriff's Bike Patrol Unit is comprised of 19 deputies. The Bike Patrol members go through initial week-long training in bike operations. The Bike Patrol is utilized in patrolling area lakes, parks, and other areas where a bike can easily access. Support is provided at the Sarpy County Fair and other special events where large attendance may occur.
