Summer Academy

The Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office offers two different summer academy programs designed to provide your son or daughter with some educational and recreational summertime fun.

The Sarpy County middle school summer academy is open to students ages 11-13 who attend school anywhere in Sarpy County. During this one-day academy, students will take part in various activities while interacting with a variety of local first responders.

The Sarpy County high school summer academy is open to students ages 14-18 who attend high school anywhere in Sarpy County. During this one-day academy, students will actively participate in various law enforcement activities alongside local first responders.

Our summer academies are free of charge. We provide breakfast and lunch each day for the student, as well as a free t-shirt.  Registration is required to attend an academy.
