Trio, a 2-year-old male lab, is the Sarpy County Attorney's new trained facility dog. His work includes creating a sense of calm at the courthouse while also providing emotional support to crime victims and witnesses, especially children.
Trio is often seen around the courthouse with County Attorney Chief of Staff Jean Brazda, who is also his handler. Jean was the handler for Manny, who died earlier this year after eight years as the courthouse's facility dog.
